My Top Beer List of Ales and Ambers. (increasing)
I really enjoy drinking beer. Is the best way to relax after a long day of work, or quench your thirst on a hot day. Ok, well maybe its not a real thirst quencher, but it sure in the hell tastes even BETTER on a hot day.. Can I get an AMEN!
Being the beer connoisseur that I am, I've happened to "sample" a lot of different beers. Mostly being from our local Micro-brewers. I not only like local beer better, but I'd rather support Micro-Brewers than the communist-outsourced companies like Budweiser and Busch. That being said, I've compiled a list of the 10 best Micro Brews that I have tried in the Northwest.
1. Dicks Danger Ale
From: Centralia, WA
Tastes Like: Not overly hoppy, Dicks Danger Ale Has a fairly smooth taste with a slightly roasted malt flavor.
2. Moose Drool Brown Ale
From: Missoula, MT
Tastes Like: Hint of a sweet, yet bitter, taste. Almost a hint of vanilla? Goes good with all food types.
3. Full Sail Amber Ale
From: Hood River, OR
Taste Like: This is the smoothest beer I've tasted so far. Has kind of a chocolate taste, but not overbearing like some stouts are. Delicious with summer foods.
4. Iron Horse Irish Death
From: Ellensburg, WA
Taste Like: Almost like a stout, but considered a [dark smooth ale] by Iron Horse Brewery. Its thick and sweet with a chocolate aroma. Seems to go well with foods of a sweeter variety. Iron Horse call it "Beer Candy" which seems to be fitting of the beer given its sweet nature.
This is just the beginning of the list. It will grow daily until I get to 10.
